Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon had his injured left knee examined by team doctors Monday, and Ducks offensive coordinator Chip Kelly said the Heisman Trophy candidate didn't suffer a significant injury early in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 35-23 win over No. 9 Arizona State. "He's fine," Kelly said. "I just saw him out in the hallway and he was doing jumping jacks. He has been working with our trainers and he'll be fine." Dixon, a senior from San Leandro, Calif., was injured early in the fourth quarter against the Sun Devils. Dixon came up hobbling after he was tackled by Omar Bolden on a 14-yard run. Dixon didn't play the rest of the game and was replaced by Brady Leaf. The Ducks (8-1) don't play again until playing at Arizona on Nov. 15, so Dixon will have more than a week to recover. Dixon has helped the Ducks climb to No. 3 in the BCS standings by throwing for 2,074 yards with 20 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He also has run for 549 yards and eight touchdowns.
