Twins free agent All-Star outfielder Torii Hunter hasn't had any contract offers from Minnesota since the regular season ended, according to a media report.
Hunter alluded to the fact that money was an issue, but certainly not the main sticking point for re-signing with the Twins. "There's other stuff, inside stuff, that people don't know about," Hunter told the paper. "Money has something to do with it, but trust me, that's just a percentage. We need to talk about stuff that needs to change before we start to get into deep talks." Hunter batted .287 last season with 28 home runs, 94 runs scored and 107 RBIs in 160 games played. |
