(Reuters) - eBay Inc said it has acquired Germany-based Afterbuy.com, which enables professional trading on eBay's German Web site and other online marketplaces.

Afterbuy.com, which is operated by ViA-Online GmbH and supplies auction management software, will continue to operate under its current brand name, eBay said.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
