MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Communications equipment company ADC Telecommunications Inc. said Wednesday it swung to a loss in its fiscal fourth quarter on hefty charges including an impairment charge related to its investment portfolio.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Amtech Systems Inc.'s profit more than doubled in its fiscal fourth quarter on strong demand for solar-power products and cost improvements, the silicon-wafer maker said Wednesday.

MADRID, Spain (AP) -- Spanish fashion retail giant Inditex SA said Wednesday its net profit expanded 30 percent in the first nine months of its fiscal year, as cost controls and solid sales growth widened profit margins.
