LOS ANGELES (AP) -- PeopleSupport Inc., an offshore business process outsourcing provider, said Wednesday it expects its fiscal 2008 profit to beat Wall Street's expectations. The company forecast income between 65 cents and 81 cents per share in 2008, with revenue of $180 million to $190 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial predict earnings of 57 cents per share on revenue of $170.8 million. PeopleSupport shares rose $1.33, or 9.7 percent, to $15.10 in electronic after-hours trading. During regular trading, shares rose 20 cents to close at $13.77. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $8.19 to $24.41.
