GRAPEVINE, Texas (AP) -- Video-game retailer GameStop Corp. said Tuesday it has opened its first combined store and game tournament center. The 4,000-square-foot center, in San Jose, Calif., will have video game tournaments most weekends and includes 24 networked game stations. The company will hold its first tournament at noon Saturday. It will feature the "Madden NFL '08" video game, and the winner will get $1,000 worth of GameStop goods. GameStop is one of the world's largest video-game retailers and has more than 5,000 retail stores across the U.S. Its shares fell 57 cents to $59.43.
