PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Comcast Corp., the nation's largest cable television operator, said Tuesday that Kathryn A. Zachem has been hired as vice president of regulatory affairs, effective Feb. 1. Zachem, 49, joins Comcast from the law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, where she was a partner and practiced communications law for 23 years. Zachem will also serve as senior vice president of regulatory affairs for Comcast Cable. Zachem will be based in Comcast's Washington office and will report to Executive Vice President David L. Cohen. Comcast shares fell 16 cents to $18.19 in midday trading.
