FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- Waste management company Republic Services Inc. on Monday reaffirmed its earnings forecast for 2007, citing strong pricing for waste disposal. Republic still projects earnings of $1.65 to $1.66 per share, excluding charges of $33.8 million, or 18 cents a share, for remediation facilities in Ohio and California. Including charges, the company projects earnings of $1.47 to $1.48 per share for the year. Analysts, on average, expect earnings of $1.64 per share, according to Thomson Financial. Wall Street estimates typically exclude one-time items. Shares dropped 4 cents to close at $33.80.Shares dropped 4 cents to close at $33.80.
