NEW YORK (AP) -- Voltaire Ltd., an Israeli developer of server and storage switching products, said Monday high demand for its switching products has lead to higher backlog in the fourth quarter and offered revenue guidance ahead of analyst expectations. The company expects fourth-quarter net income, excluding one-time items, to be between a penny and 3 cents per share on revenue of $15.7 million to $16.7 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial predict a profit of 2 cents per share on revenue of $14.8 million. For the year, the company predicts revenue of $51.5 million to $52.5 million, while analysts expect revenue of $47.4 million. Voltaire shares added 24 cents, or 3.1 percent, to $7.97 in morning trading.
