HAWTHORNE, Calif. (AP) -- OSI Systems Inc., which provides electronics to the security and health care industries, said Friday its Rapiscan Systems division has been awarded a $9.3 million contract to provide X-ray systems to the Transportation Security Administration. The contract covers half of the X-ray systems currently on order by the TSA, OSI said. The company expects to start delivery of the systems in its fiscal second quarter, which ends in December.
