NEW YORK (AP) -- Biotechnology company ViRexx Medical Corp. said Friday Darrell Elliott has been named chairman, director and interim chief executive, effective immediately. Elliott will be replacing Peter Smetek, the former chairman and interim CEO. Smetek will remain as director of ViRexx. Shares of Edmonton, Alberta-based ViRexx fell 2 cents, or 3.4 percent, to close at 57 cents.
