NEW YORK (AP) -- A Spanish subsidiary of engineering and construction services company Foster Wheeler Ltd. said Friday it will provide engineering services to a Spanish foundation for a coal-fired demonstration plant. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Foster Wheeler will provide engineering and other services to the Foundacion Ciudad de la Energia (CIUDEN) for the development of the plant in Spain scheduled to start operating in mid-2009. CIUDEN is a Spanish foundation incorporated by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Ministry of the Environment. Foster Wheeler shares rose 59 cents to close at $130.76.
