ST. PAUL (AP) -- Hunting and outdoor gear retailer Gander Mountain Co. said computer equipment containing some credit card information about customers who shopped at one store in Pennsylvania is missing and may have been stolen. The St. Paul-based company said in a news release that the equipment contained information for customers who shopped at Gander Mountain's store in Greensburg, Pa., between July 2002 and June of this year. The information includes about 112,000 credit card numbers with expiration dates but without other associated information. About 10,000 transaction records may have included the credit card number, expiration date and the customer's name. In about 5,100 cases, the customer address also may have been included. Only customers at the one Pennsylvania store are affected and the company has notified those customers for which it had addresses, the company said in the Monday news release. The company has established a help line for affected customers. The number is: (866)-986-2988.
