INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Republic Airways Holdings Inc. said Tuesday it would buy back $20.2 million worth of stock from its one-time majority shareholder. Republic will buy 1 million shares from WexAir LLC at $20.20 per share. Republic Airways, which operates Chautauqua Airlines, Republic Airlines and Shuttle America, expects the transaction to close on Friday. The repurchase is authorized under a previously announced $100 million buyback program. Shares added 67 cents, or 3.4 percent, to $20.19.
