NEW YORK (AP) -- The Nasdaq 100 fell in midday trading Monday, dragged down by Millicom International Cellular SA and Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. The Nasdaq 100, which includes 100 of the largest nonfinancial securities listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market, sank 7.14 points to 1,951.21 in midday trading. The broader Nasdaq composite fell 18.56 points to 2,547.14. Shares of Millicom International Cellular SA, a telecommunications services provider, dropped $5.15, or 6.5 percent, to $74.61. Cognizant Technology shares declined $3.18, or 4.5 percent, to $67.89. Earlier, shares set a 52-week low of $67.63. Level 3 Communications Inc. shares shed 19 cents, or 4 percent, to $4.60. On the rising side, shares of iPod maker Apple Inc. added $3.34, or 2.5 percent, to $135.11. The company sold its millionth iPhone on Sunday, just 74 days after the gadget went on sale, and less than a week after Apple cut the iPhone's price by a third. Shares of video game publisher Activision Inc. rose 38 cents, or 2 percent, to $19.17. Dentsply International Inc. shares added 59 cents to $40.85.
